Corporate editing
I provide a range of corporate editing for clients from proofreading to copyediting and structural advice. Previous clients have included Queensland Parliament and the Supreme Court Library Queensland.

To give you a greater understanding of what I do, here is more information:
- Copy editing and proofreading includes correcting grammar and punctuation, checking for consistency, and editing for style and clarity.
- Structural editing and manuscript assessment includes providing a comprehensive written report on structure, characters, chronology, clarity of content, voice/narration, readership, pace, writing style, repetition, logic, and other storytelling elements. Specifically, the report will provide an overall assessment of your manuscript, including its strengths and weaknesses, feedback on any particular areas you have asked to be assessed, and detailed suggestions for improvement. Telephone and Skype consultations are included for further clarification as necessary.
- The WordWhisperer’s Touch: this can include some or all of the above, but what separates this from the rest is that I also provide coaching on how to make your work sparkle. This may include suggesting detailed wording changes in parts of your writing, if this is what you’re seeking. The key to this is my understanding of what it is you want and need. As an editor and writer with teaching and facilitation skills, I’m able to gain this understanding quickly in consultation with you.
